Community Garden in Naterki
The village beach in Naterki may change its face again this year. Could it be even better? As part of the Edible Landscape project, carried out by the "W Landscape" Foundation, we would like to build a "community garden" with the residents of the Gietrzwałd Commune and the Stawiguda Commune and plant some edible plants on the beach.
The initial proposal was prepared by Małgorzata Tercjak under the supervision of Mariusz Antolak, as part of an engineering work carried out on the UWM Landscape Architecture. Next to the existing hearth, two crates with herbs and planting fruit bushes were proposed. In addition to the delicacies prepared in the fire, you will also be able to eat currants and cherries. Next to the gazebo, there are boxes made of pallet collars, where perennial vegetables and fruit bushes will be grown. During rest and integration meetings, you will be able to taste fruit and vegetables and enjoy the beauty of edible plants.

The first attempts have already been made to see what a school garden at the School and Kindergarten Complex in Sząbruk could look like. The proposal was developed by Małgorzata Tercjak under the supervision of Mariusz Antolak as part of the engineering work carried out at the Faculty of Landscape Architecture at UWM.
The major part of the planned development is at the school building and the gymnasium. In the space between the buildings, there are boxes made of pallet collars, where vegetables and herbs can be grown . Apart from the utility function, they will also have an educational function. In addition, the project also includes discounts for ornamental plants, such as: rudbeckie, funkie, geraniums, fruit trees and shrubs. A "Green Class" was also planned, which would serve as an external classroom . roofed benches and tables that would greatly facilitate the conduct of activities. Unfortunately, at the moment we do not have enough funds to build these tables, but we are waiting for your support. Maybe the Parent Council or the sponsor will be involved in the project?
