On April 15, 2023 we visited Wymój in Stawiguda province. During a gardening workshop, together with residents and friends of the village, we established a community garden at the village playground as part of the Edible Landscape project. The weather didn't spoil us, but thanks to it we are sure that the botanicals we planted will adapt in the new place! 

As part of the meeting, we planted trees, shrubs and other edible plants. We set up a box for growing vegetables and herbs from pallet extensions, which will serve residents and visitors to the village. The workshop was accompanied by an exhibition of educational boards with interesting recipes for dishes made from edible flowers, weeds and trees. 

While working together to establish a garden, workshop participants learned how to set up a vegetable growing box and learned tricks of organic gardening. We talked about permaculture, mulching, soil building and what to do with old cardboard boxes.
